Panera Bread, a bakery, will be taking over the Parasol building this summer with an anticipated opening in late 2010, Century National Properties, Inc., announced recently. Century National owns the Shops at Rossmoor center, which the company calls a “lifestyle center.” The Shops at Rossmoor center is located in the city of Seal Beach.
Panera Bread is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2010.
Panera Bread is the first bakery to open in the shopping center since Rossmoor Pastries relocated to Signal Hill.
“Our goal was to find a restaurant that would compliment both the iconic Parasol building and the rest of our lifestyle center and we believe that Panera Bread is the perfect fit. Panera Bread fills a special niche combining a comfortable atmosphere with a variety of exciting menu options.” said Madelyn Jackrel, president of Century National Properties.
