Two-time Olympic water polo player and Seal Beach resident Tim Hutten joins the United Water Polo Club coaching staff. His experience as an international player and Olympic Silver Medalist are credentials only a few players can boast.

As a coach, the Los Alamitos High School graduate returns to his home pool to work specifically with United’s High School groups, which are the 16 & Under (16U) and 18 & Under (18U).

“We are excited to have him on staff,” said United’s Director and Head Coach Trevor Wawrzynski. “Tim has the gift to develop players. He is able to coach from two perspectives: on the deck and in the water.”

United Water Polo Club is committed to develop and train the next generation of water polo athletes, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of the game, and to provide and teach the sport in an atmosphere of cooperation, discipline, patience, teamwork and good sportsmanship.  We will provide an exceptional level of experience and coaching for our athletes, both on a national and international level, and work in conjunction with our local high schools, colleges, and national teams to provide the most qualified team members for the future.
