The Salon Meritage shooting occurred on Oct. 12, 2011, ending the lives of eight victims and wounding one other. It was the worst mass killing in Orange County history. The incident not only affected the families and friends of the victims, but thousands of others within Seal Beach and surrounding communities.
Residents of Seal Beach, city officials, Affliction Clothing, other local business owners and family members who lost their loved ones that horrific day, have teamed up to create the Seal Beach Memorial Fundraiser and Block Party.
