The Media Department for the Seal Beach Police confirmed to the public:
“On July 20, 2015, at 11:56 am, a passerby observed a deceased person in the flood control channel south of Rancho Road and west of Bolsa Chica Road in Seal Beach. No further details at this point as the Orange County Coroner in en route. Media staging area is on the corner of Rancho Rd. and Bolsa Chica Rd., Westiminster, California. More information to follow shortly.”
UPDATE: The case is being elevated to a “suspicious death.” Our victim is an Asian male approximately 40-50 years of age.
