In response to the high heat and humidity the City of Seal Beach will be opening two cooling centers for residents.  The cooling centers will provide water, ice and an air-conditioned environment from 11 a.m.-5 pm.  The locations of the cooling centers are:

The Leisure World retirement community will open a cooling center for their residents at Clubhouse 6, 1661 Golden Rain Rd.  For more information, call the Seal Beach Emergency Services Coordinator, Cpl. Michael Ezroj, at 562-799-4100 ext. 1145.9
