The city manager’s performance evaluation was one of three items on the agenda of the March 25 closed session of the City Council.
During his report to the open council session, City Attorney Nick Ghirelli said no reportable action was taken.
• The Public Employee Performance Evaluation was Item B on the closed session agenda. Though not identified by name, Ingram is the current Seal Beach city manager. She was hired in July 2011. As previously reported, Article 6 of the Ingram’s contract specifically calls for her evaluation on March 1 of each year or a later date, mutually agreed on by the parties. A review of Closed Session agendas show her previous evaluation was held Aug. 9, 2021.
• Item A was a conference with Seal Beach labor negotiators Ingram and Assistant City Manager Patrick Gallegos. They are currently negotiating with the Police Officers Association, the Police Management Association, the Seal Beach Supervisors and Professionals Association, and the Mid-Management and Confidential Employees Association.
• Item C was a conference with real estate property negotiators over the price and terms of payment for 4197 Ironwood Ave. (See page 1.)
