Vons has announced that they will collect customer donations at their Seal Beach Pavilions, located at 1101 Pacific Coast Highway, on Saturday and Sunday to assist the families of the eight Seal Beach residents that lost their lives in Wednesday’s shooting.
The company has also pledged to match customer donations up to $25,000. All funds will go the Seal Beach Victims’ Fund and will be equally distributed among the eight families to assist with funeral expenses and other necessities. According to a press release issued by the city of Seal Beach, the fund was established jointly by the city government, Watson & Associates (the company that owns the shopping center where the murders occurred) and the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce.
