However, according to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Michael Henderson, “Officers responded to a report of two male suspects burglarizing vehicles.” Police arrested two suspects immediately. A follow up investigation led to a third suspect who was in possession of stolen property. “All three suspects were arrested without incident and their vehicle was towed. All victims were contacted and their property was returned to them,” Henderson said.

Trespassing—6:24 p.m.—Farquhar Avenue—An anonymous caller reported that a tenant who was not at the location had allowed a female and her child to stay in the garage. The caller said the owner of the property said the female was not allowed on the property. The caller also said that the tenant had a text message from the owner, stating that the female was not allowed on the property. Patrol contacted the subject, who said she and her daughter had been staying inside the apartment, but were recently told by the tenant that they could no longer stay. The subject was waiting for the tenant so she could get the rest of her property from inside the apartment. The subject checked out OK and there was no trespassing.

Sunday, April 22

Suspicious Person—7:32 p.m.—Katella Avenue—The caller reported a male subject who had been asking suspicious questions and was now lying down on the bench in front of the location for the past 30 minutes. The subject was described as a black male, in his 20s, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. The caller was working alone and was afraid. She had closed the door to the business and was standing by to the rear of the business. Patrol contacted the caller and subject. The situation checked out OK.

Both parties were advised and would comply.
