I have a home that is in Sunset Beach, but also in Huntington Beach, which is where I am registered to vote. So I am not a registered voter of Sunset Beach.
I like Huntington Beach and have nothing against it, but I don’t feel it should be taking over Sunset Beach, which enjoys a rapidly disappearing ambience as a small seaside town, that doesn’t have to get the highest possible use out every square inch of dirt.
I understand only the opinions of registered voters count, but maybe unregistered residents can also support the quest for independence. I did make a contribution and I just also wanted to express my feelings on this issue.
