The Ostis witnessed the Navy ship, which cost $1 billion-plus, commissioned on Saturday at the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station. “Our daughter asked us why that big ship was in our backyard. We promised her on Saturday she would find out and attend the event,” her dad said.
