Our Sun Newspaper Surfer of the Week Omar Rodriguez was raised in Seal Beach and was an avid life-long surfer. He bravely battled cancer for the past two years. However, according to his family, like a true waterman, “His positive spirit and infectious smile prevailed. Omar’s love of life and inspiring attitude touched us all.”
