Ten eighth-graders with their seventh grade alternates from Saint Bonaventure Catholic School in Huntington Beach recently traveled to Rancho Santa Margarita High School Saturday, March 17, to compete in the annual Academic Decathlon. The team walked away with three medals. This year marked the first time Saint Bonaventure students have competed in the event. Medal winners were Catherine Trinh, 1st place in Literature; Kayli Minear, 2nd place in Religion; and Aurora Johnson, 4th place in Science.
