The recent 5th Annual Presidential “Lifetime Achievement” Awards Luncheon held at the Radisson Hotel in Newport Beach proved that for many older Americans there is an act two after retirement.

Honorees included seniors who belong to the Seal Beach Volunteers in Policing program.

The event showcased approximately 125 retired and senior volunteers who received the prestigious “Call to Service Award,” recognizing those who have served 4,000 or more hours. Volunteers with 10, 15 or 20 years or more of service to their community were also honored.
