Seal Beach hosts College Park East meeting tonight

Seal Beach City Manager Jill Ingram and Interim Police Chief Keith Kilmer will attend a meeting today in the city’s College Park East neighborhood to discuss quality of life issues.

“On behalf of the city of Seal Beach and City Manager Jill Ingram, Police Chief Keith Kilmer invites you to attend a neighborhood meeting Thursday in College Park East,” said a press release from the city of Seal Beach.  “We will also be discussing the new Neighbor 4 Neighbor (N4N) crime prevention and emergency preparedness program. Members of all citywide departments will be available to provide resource information.”

These departments include the Seal Beach Lifeguards, Orange County Fire Authority, Public Works, Finance, Community Services and Recreation.

The following is the schedule for today’s meeting:

Time: Meet and Greet from 6 to 7 p.m.. Meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Where: Seal Beach Tennis Center (3900 Lampson Avenue)

Why:     Discuss College Park East quality of life issues

Who: All are invited but the focus will be College Park East

Discussion topics:

• Reviewing the most recent crime trends in the CPE and Seal Beach

•What we can do together to prevent crime from occurring

• When to call the police

• Discussing YOUR involvement in Neighbor 4 Neighbor

• Signing up for NIXLE – your way of instant communication with the police department.

• Programs available to the community from all City Departments
