405 Freeway Cities to hold Town Hall Forum Tuesday, Oct. 29

A panel of council members from each of the six 405 Freeway Cities Coalition (Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, and Westminster) will hold a public forum on the toll lane proposal for the 405 Freeway improvement project at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Westminster.

The Orange OCTA proposes adding toll lanes along the I-405 Freeway between the SR-55 Freeway At Costa Mesa and the I-605 Freeway At The LA County Border

The meeting will be held in the Community Services Building at 8300 Westminster Blvd., in Westminster (south of the SR-22 Freeway between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street).

The OCTA Board Of Directors is scheduled to vote at their Nov. 8 board meeting on their proposal to add toll lanes along the I-405 Freeway in Orange County.

The Town Hall Forum is an effort to gather public input to pass along to OCTA and Caltrans Regarding Their Proposal.

Featured speakers at Tuesday’s town hall meeting are expected to include:

  • State Assemblyman Allan Mansoor
  • State Assemblyman Travis Allen
