2ND & PCH, Long Beach’s premier outdoor shopping center, welcomes the community to kick off spring with free community events for all to enjoy.
Musical Youth Artist Repertory (MYART) Troupe will debut a musical theatre performance on April 9 at 11 a.m. on the grand staircase stage.
The center will host a Pop-up Fire Safety Kids Club on March 30 10 a.m. – noon. Kids of all ages are invited to learn more about fire safety and prevention with hands-on activities, entertainment and a take home craft (while supplies last).
The outdoor movie series, PCH Movies & Moonlight, returns on Friday, April 1st at sunset featuring Disney’s Encanto. Songs, activities and a meet and greet with film character Mirabel will take place on Seaport Way 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Movies are complimentary for the community to enjoy, weather permitting. Self-seating and heaters will be available along Seaport Way on a first come first serve basis. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. 2ND & PCH offers an array of restaurants, retailers and specialty services within the center for the community to enjoy before, during or after the movie.
2ND & PCH invites the community to Hoppin’ Photos with Bunny April 9 and April 10, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and April 16 noon – 4 p.m. on Seaport Way. Capture memories and grab a selfie in front of a spring-themed backdrop, including a vintage Volkswagen bus. Crafts and additional activities will be provided by Family Church in Signal Hill on April 16. Hoppin’ Photos with Bunny are on a first come first serve basis; a photographer will not be present – selfies are encouraged.
Shop for hand-crafted treasures and support local artisans at the Creative Communal Makers Market on April 10 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. along Seaport Way. The unique open-air market features a curated assortment of vendors, kids activities, a photo op and live music from Ernando and the Nandos 2 – 5 p.m.
All are welcome to celebrate Earth Day at 2ND & PCH on April 23 10 a.m. – noon. Activities will include hands-on arts and craft plus live entertainment.
