Nashville on the Coast returns Wednesday, June 29

Local celebration of country music ends June 23

Pictured here are Kaleb Garrett, Michael Jay Hughes, Scott Fleetwood, performing at Nashville on the Coast, Seal Beach’s celebration of country music.

The annual Nashville on the Coast is a free music festival, June 19-June 23 featuring singer songwriters and the passion project of founder, Daren DeLeon.  Inspired by Tin Pan South, the world’s largest singer songwriter festival in Nashville, Tennessee, this event is dedicated to songs the those that create them.  Country music fans can experience the music and the stories behind them at various venues throughout Seal Beach.

After seeking advice from organizations such as the Country Music Hall of Fame, NASI, BMI Music, Studio B, WME as well as successful production companies in Nashville and LA, the event has scaled to a point where it could really make a difference.  Nashville on the Coast, now in its third year has grown from three artists coming in from Nashville, to over 40 artists that include, Grammy winners and nominees, LA Music nominees, JOSIE winners, viral sensations, artists with music featured on Yellowstone, Roswell and the NFL, as well as finalist for the Voce and American Idol.  This year also includes Writers Round organizations from Los Angeles, Orange County and Fullerton and special guest host on Sunday, June 23, DJ Pepper from country music radio station KFrog.   Last year it chose Honor Flight Southland as its designated charity, so the money raised will send veterans to the memorials in Washington DC erected in the honor of their service.

Organizers hope to see music lovers from June 19 to 23 at The Beach House, O’Malley’s, 320 Main and Marni’s in Seal Beach.
